Geschaffen für den anspruchsvollen Hörer übertrifft der HD 660 S die außergewöhnliche Leistung seines Vorgängers, des legendären HD 650. Mit knackigen Bässen, exzellentem Mittenbereich und sanften, angenehm natürlichen Höhen besitzt der HD 660 S eine Ausdruckskraft, die lässt Sie in jede Emotion und Nuance der Musik eintauchen. Modernste Sennheiser-Technologie
Der HD 660 S verfügt über ein neues, von Sennheiser entwickeltes Wandlerdesign. Daraus resultiert eine verbesserte Kontrolle der Membranbewegungen durch ein speziell gefertigtes Präzisions-Edelstahlgewebe, das sich der Kontur der Membrane anpasst. Extrem leichte Aluminium-Schwingspulen sorgen für höchste Impulstreue. Die Wandler werden sorgfältig ausgewählt und von Hand gepaart, um konstant enge (±1 dB) Toleranzen zu gewährleisten.
Höchste Konnektivität
Der HD 660 S wurde entwickelt, um Musik in höchster Qualität und aus vielen verschiedenen Audioquellen zu genießen. Dank seiner niedrigen Impedanz bietet er auch bei hochauflösenden mobilen Playern eine Wiedergabetreue der Referenzklasse. Natürlich entfaltet der HD 660 S sein volles Potenzial, wenn er an die symmetrischen Ausgänge eines dedizierten Kopfhörerverstärkers wie dem HDV 820 oder an den symmetrischen Ausgang eines mobilen digitalen Audioplayers angeschlossen wird. Dementsprechend gibt es eine Auswahl an Kabeln für fast jeden Anlass. Alle Kabel bestehen aus hochleitfähigem OFC-Kupfer, zeichnen sich durch ein sehr geringes Griffgeräusch und eine robuste Para-Aramid-Verstärkung aus.

Amazing pair of headphone, well worth the money, sound is great. Just as good/even better then the HD800 . Recommend using a good dac ans out to drive it to get the best out of the headphone !

Increased my enjoyment in listening to high quality music, and that's just through the laptop headphone socket. Listening to 'LFO - LFO' for example, the first tune I play with a new set of speakers in a room, or to test headphones, the bass is a lot tighter than my previous set of ATH M50X and music sounds wider and more involving with a braod range of music that i've tested. Likewise, listening to poor quality recordings I can hear the impefections and lack of quality better, so perhaps not ideal for listening to low quality mp3s. I have a couple of Hi Resolution audio players and studio audio interfaces which i've yet to try with these, so hoping they can squeeze a little extra out of a track and that I can use them for creating music. It's good to be able to power a high quality set of headphones from a laptop headphone port though, so not wholley essential to use a DAC headphone amp, but that will probably be my next move for listening at leisure.
Cabling and connectors seem high quality too. My only slight disappointment really is that the Y-split in the cable to the earpieces is a little too close to my chin and sometimes I have to push a connector back into the earpiece when I start a listening session, perhaps after pulling the cables slightly with my chin when taking them off, so that might affect long term durabilty.

Great sound. A little too much clamping force makes them somewhat uncomfortable to wear. It is however getting better after some use and I expect it to sort itself out. Very fast delivery and an over all nice purchase process.
